- That can't be a real question. History has taught us that fascism is not what we want, or hope to become.

- I'm a bassplayer with a degree in fine arts and painting. I have a full time job, a production company, and play in two bands, and do a radio show on community radio. I also am caretaker for my mother who is permanently wheelchair bound.

I'm so glad that Dave was able to reach out to you when you joined, but I did not want to neglect my duty to give you the official welcome :)
Very glad to have you with us. Hope you are exploring the sight and finding a lot of useful information. There are many groups you can join; check them out and see if you resonate with any of them; or Start one! You can keep up with Forum discussions, posted blogs, latest streaming news and coming events right from the main page. We also have a chatroom and an easy "invite" button you can use to invite your friends and associates to come check us out and hopefully join.
We welcome and encourage your input and ideas; Start a forum discussion, post an article or video, respond to a blog, join your state's SFAN Group, create your own group for a special project, e-mail everyone you know and tell them we exist. And if you feel that you have a special talent to volunteer/contribute which will improve our sight, please be sure to contact Robert R, our SFAN Founder (member StopFascim.com / contact info on our MAIN page), and offer your services.
If your primary focus is gathering information and developing a more solid foundation and understanding of what has REALLY been happening in the world, many of our member's have posted excellent content on their sights and I recommend you visit and peruse as many as possible, for each individual offers insights and perspectives that inform the whole. (some you may agree with, some..... not so much )
We are still pretty new, but steadily growing... as grass-roots as it gets; and we are pleased to welcome you in to the fold. Thanks again, for bringing your voice to the most important subject of our times.

Also, Cynthia McKinney is incredible and will probably get my vote next election in 2012 if I don't vote for Dennis Kucinich, who Emily Berno interviewed live by the way on one of her radio shows "Truly Sustainable Sarasota" the day after he had been sabotaged by ABC in Las Vegas from participating in the Presidential debates after he had qualified, been blocked by "sudden rule changes by ABC" then got a Nevada court order to participate, but then was blocked again by ABC from participating in the debates.
